Wendell and Vinnie : A TV Review?
First off, I know this is a beauty blog. I know. But I have been thinking about maybe changing it to an entertainment blog... What do you think?
I watched Wendell and Vinnie, the new show on Nick @ Nite, tonight prepared to be dissapointed. I had heard a lot of people's expectations to be "typical" and not original at all. But I beg to differ.
Jerry Trainor is by far my favorite adult actor on Nick. He's the funniest they've got. And he showed off a more college side of him then a middle schooler.
BACK STORY - Vinnie is Wendell's uncle. Wendell's parents passed away six months ago, and Vinnie got custody of him.
My overall rating : a 4 out of 5. I think it's great for Nickelodeon.

Are you a mature Wendell or a fun-loving Vinnie?

BACK STORY - Vinnie is Wendell's uncle. Wendell's parents passed away six months ago, and Vinnie got custody of him.
The show opens up with Wendell doing homework and Vinnie over the top excited with a box. It turns out he has gotten a lightsaber from Star Wars! He expects Wendell to be intrigued in it, but we see that the 12 year old not only has no interest, he actually has never even seen Star Wars. That is the first of many signs that Wendell is not your ordinary kid.
Vinnie meets a girl (I admit, this is typical. You have to have a female.) She's a new neighbor who is prone to immature guys flirting with her.
Vinnie also has a sister who doesn't understand why he got custody of Wendell.
(My favorite part of the show is when Wendell is on his laptop, and when Vinnie comes in he slams it shut. Of course, first assumption is that Wendell has been a bad little boy, and for some strange reason, Vinnie is excited about it. We find out that Wendell was in fact creating a scrapbook. Vinnie quote "The next time I see that laptop I want to see boobs!")

I woke up after a much needed nap to this! I can't believe that in a few short weeks I have already reached 20 subscribers on YouTube. I love you guys and of you haven't already subscribed, make sure you do! Let's try to get to 30!

Me With No Makeup?!
Happy Hump Day everyone!
Nikki Phillippi recently did a video on confidence. I wanted to talk a little about that today.
I mainly want to tell you guys about having the confidence to not compare yourself to others. It's so easy for us to see Kylie Jenner and think "why can't I be the tall? why can't my hair be that long?" . What does that do? It just brings us down!
I decided to show you some pictures of me with and without makeup and the things it can hide. The next time you start to think someone is perfect, remember they are probably hiding something underneath there that they don't like either. It's just a part of life.
I'll be the first to say that I hate my nose. It's huge. I don't know what to do about it. And my smile is weird. But I have big eyes. And my hair looks pretty great pulled up.

Dream Date Tag!
Happy Monday everyone! (Never thought you would hear someone say that, did you, huh?)
Being the oh-so typical teenage girl, I have had my fair share of fantasies. Not any disgusting or humiliating ones that would make you think less of me, but sweet ones that aren't very realistic. And because I am a blogger, what better way to explain it then answering the questions in a tag?
I hope you enjoy this tag and will do this on your blog. I created it so leave me some feedback on it as well.
1) What kind of guy do you like?
Okay, so let me just start by saying that I live in the south. Go ahead. Stereotype me to fall for a beer-drinking redneck. Believe it or not, but I do love country boys. Just not the ones that people think of when they hear "country".
The type of guy that I like has brown hair, somewhat tall, (not too tall. Just tall enough where my head rests right under his head when we hug), brown eyes, a nice smile, plays baseball, and goes to church.
2) How many dates have you been on?
This is a little embarrassing, but I've never actually been on a date. I'm only 14 though so it's not THAT big of a deal.
3) How many guys have you kissed?
Again, I've never kissed a guy. Is it wrong that I'm waiting for someone I like?
4) What would you be wearing? What would he be wearing?
I would be wearing jeans, sandals, and probably a tshirt. Not elegant at all. Comfort is key.
He would be wearing jeans, boots UNDER the jeans, not over, and a tshirt.
5) Where would he take you?
I for one think it would be much more romantic to take me to a lake. He would take me in his red Ford truck, and we would sit on the bed of the truck watching the stars.
6) Would any music be playing?
I think that if we had the little back window of the truck open and some country music playing, that it would be super duper sweet.
7) Would you let him kiss you?
On this question, I have a lot of explaining to do. ONE - This would not be the date that a guy would ask me out on. It would be a date that we went on after we had been dating for a few months. So, I would probably let him kiss me. (Keep in mind that I'm the type of girl that thinks that you should hold onto your virginity until you're married.) TWO - If he hinted that he REALLLLY wanted to kiss me, I would be a little more passionate. But not to the point where things heat up.
8) Dinner?
Homemade sandwiches and a glass bottle of coke, y'all.
9) How would he take you home?
If a guy took me home 20 minutes before curfew, I would love him forever. (Do not take that too seriously. I could argue that I would love someone if they gave me a piece of chocolate.) He would drive me home, kiss me on the cheek, maybe a small peck, and then shake my dad's hand at the door before driving off.
