EOS Lip Balm: Yay or Nay?

Hey everyone! It is time for the second edition of "Yay or Nay?" Today I am going to be talking about EOS Lip Balms. So let's start with the main question: Yay or Nay?

Everyone seems to love these guys. I personally don't like them. Whenever I review something I ask certain questions:

What is it?
What is the price?
Is the packaging good or bad?
Does it meet up to it's claims?
Is it worth the hype?

Let's start with the first question. What is it? EOS
lip balms (some people pronounce it eeyos<this is wrong) are a lip balm in a little egg shaped container. They are by the brand Evolution of Smooth. They supposedly have shea butter, Vitamin E, are gluten free, paraben free, and petrolatum free. (GOOD)

What is the price?  These lip balms retail for $3.29 USD. (GOOD)

Is the packaging good or bad? The packaging is cute, but storage wise it isn't very good. I can't store it in anything. (BAD)

Does it meet up to it's claims? EOS claims that this lip balm has long lasting moisture, it smoothes on clear, the smooth sphere precisely glides on to lips and has a twist off top. I will agree that it has the twist off top, but none of the other claims I agree with. It comes off red on my lips no matter what I do. It also does not "glide on smoothly", and does not have long lasting moisture. It only stays on my lips for about 10 minutes too. (BAD)

Is it worth the hype? I would have to say that this is not worth the hype. It may work for you, but this product is a nay for me. (BAD)

Do you like EOS lip balms? Do you like any other products from this brand? Tell me down below!

xoxo,
Olivia

  3. Interesting! They look cute...but I agree, doesn't seem like they could be stored in many convenient places. Good review, Olivia!

  4. I have tried and much prefer Buddha Balm. Better flavors and no clunky packaging. You will love it.

  7. It's a marginal lip balm. Their shave cream is *way* better. BTW: it's pronounced like it looks. You don't say the letters.
